Vian Dakhil MP is the only Yazidi member of the Iraqi parliament. Though she gave this speech on 5 August I came across it only yesterday. It speaks for itself.
The MP was injured a week later when an Iraqi helicopter on a mission to help the besieged Yazidi people crashed, killing the pilot.
